John Marshall High School

Against All Odds Rise (AAOR) had the incredible opportunity to bring our community-police engagement program to John Marshall High School, creating meaningful conversations between students and officers. This event was another powerful step in bridging the gap, allowing young minds to ask questions, share perspectives, and build trust with law enforcement in a safe and open environment.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Principal Margaret Bray and Northside ISD for welcoming our program into their district and school. Your support allows us to continue our mission of creating positive change through education and progressive dialogue.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of our very first Douglas Greene Award—given to none other than Officer Douglas Greene himself. This award recognizes an individual who exemplifies faith, leadership, and dedication to both law enforcement and the community. Officer Greene’s commitment to being a man of God first and an outstanding officer and community leader made him the perfect recipient for this honor.

We are grateful to everyone who participated, and we look forward to continuing these impactful conversations in more schools and communities. Thank you for standing with us—together, we rise!
