Blue Beacon Feed the Officers

At Against All Odds Rise (AAOR), we believe in showing gratitude to those who serve and protect. That’s why our Blue Beacon Feed the Officers initiative has become a cherished tradition. In collaboration with Lighthouse Christian Temple Church, this program brings holiday cheer to the hardworking officers of the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

For the past two years, the incredible team at Lighthouse Christian Temple has volunteered their time, resources, and culinary skills to prepare and serve a heartfelt holiday meal to officers at a selected SAPD substation. This year, the tradition continues, strengthening bonds and reminding officers that their dedication does not go unnoticed.

The atmosphere at each event is warm and welcoming, filled with laughter, gratitude, and community spirit. Officers enjoy a delicious meal prepared with care, while members of the church and AAOR volunteers engage with them, sharing stories and mutual appreciation. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a moment to pause, connect, and reflect on the shared goal of fostering unity within our community.
