Thank You for Making Our 3rd Annual Back to School Event a Success!

On Saturday, August 9th, Against All Odds Rise (AAOR) hosted our 3rd Annual Back to School Event, and it was an incredible day of community, giving, and unity.

The weekend began on Friday, August 8th, as we partnered with Zapatos to bless families with brand-new shoes for the school year. This powerful partnership allowed us to meet real needs while reminding families that they are seen, valued, and supported.

We want to extend a special thank you to Millers Pond Community Center Parks & Recreation for graciously hosting us once again this year. Your continued partnership provides a welcoming space for families to come together and be blessed.

We are also deeply grateful to all the vendors who showed up and gave their time, energy, and resources to help make this event a success. From school supplies to services, your generosity made a real impact on the families we serve.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to Victory Outreach for your ongoing commitment to sharing the Gospel and bringing light and hope to our community. Your presence reminds us of the deeper purpose behind everything we do—building up our community not only in practical ways but spiritually as well.

Together, we were able to bless children and families with the tools they need for a successful school year, while strengthening the bond between community members, organizations, and law enforcement.
